Role: Social & Content Coordinator

Salary: Entry Level Role £20k – £25k plus 10% bonus [Negotiable depending on experience]

Location: Remote/office hybrid {Belfast}. Please note, a full driving license and access to a car is required for the role, as traveling will be required for onsite client content creation.

Experience: A degree in Marketing (BSc) or equivalent. Preferably, candidates will have at least 1 year(s) experience in a similar role.

Digital 24 are in the midst of a growth period, and are subsequently looking to hire a talented Social & Content Coordinator to join the team. As Social & Content Coordinator you will draw on your digital skills, specifically organic social media management, to support the wider social & content team and will work directly on a range of client social media accounts including (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. You’ll be working alongside our Content and Social Media team to deliver success for our extensive client base across Northern Ireland, Ireland, Mainland UK, USA and further afield in industries such as food, property, beauty, hospitality and more.

Who you are: 

You’re an intelligent self-starter who can prioritise work and manage your own deadlines under pressure. 

You have completed a Marketing degree (or equivalent) and have an understanding of core marketing concepts such as target personas, growth strategies and business goals/KPIs.

 You are a good mix of creative and data-driven, who can put together a great TikTok video and understand how to measure the results of your efforts. You’ll have no problem using Canva and desktop and mobile editing software to create some unique graphics and video content for your diverse client base.  

You have enough technical skills to learn how to set up conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Facebook ads Events Manager, and Google ads as well as through APIs such as Shopify, Wix and WordPress. {NB – full training will be provided in these areas}.

You have great communications skills, both internally and with clients. You will be required to keep your team and clients up to date regarding performance and progress on projects. At times, you may need to present proposed campaigns to prospective or existing clients.

You work well both on your own and as part of a team. The Digital 24 team are a self-directed bunch, who get to follow their nose when it comes to strategic direction in many cases. But, you won’t only be managing clients by yourself. Some of our larger clients have multiple specialists working together to drive the success of their online campaigns. You will also be working closely with our Advertising Director and Specialists to strategise client success each quarter. 

We all make mistakes. But, as you can imagine, little mistakes can mean a lot to clients when we’re dealing with their marketing spend. As such, you will need to be meticulous with your work. This includes good spelling and grammar skills!

First and foremost, we are seeking a suitable candidate who has a driven mindset and enough experience to grow into the role if necessary. The candidate will be offered training if there are areas in which you require upskilling. 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Managing client accounts across a range of industries
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships through liaising directly with your clients
  • Strategising, planning and managing organic campaigns across TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and more.
  • Identifying trends and understanding how to capitalise on these for engagement and growth
  • Working well towards set KPIs based on individual client needs
  • Preparing regular reports that provide insights on performance to strategise future campaigns
  • Supporting the Social & Content Lead on a range of projects
  • Joining the Social & Content team on content creation days, out and about, using your phone to shoot great videos and images for social media & advertising purposes
  • Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of best practices for social media
  • Researching blog topics, creating blog content calendars, writing and uploading client blogs to the website.
  • Editing client imagery and video content for social media and advertising purposes.

Here’s what we like to see:

  • GSCEs in English and Maths
  • BSc/BA in Marketing or relevant field
  • 1 year(s) in a related role is desired (but not essential)
  • Strong creative capabilities (creating video and image content)
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
